Holiday Courses

Holiday Courses for 8-16 year olds run during school holidays

UINCAP’s holiday courses provide an excellent opportunity for children to experience capoeira and related dance and music for the first time, in a supportive environment.   The courses also include instrument-making and visual arts sessions and we work towards an end of course performance each week.

The holiday projects also give those children with experience the opportunity to develop their skills further and to take part in specialised ‘masterclass-style’ sessions, such as instrumental playing, vocal work, acrobatics and so on.

We will be running 2 winter holiday playschemes, from Monday 20th - Thursday 23rd December 2021.
They will take place at the Streatham Capoeira Centre and the Kennington Park Centre Adventure Playground .
Each play scheme will offer a range of activities, including:
  • Capoeira
  • Dance and Music
  • Hula-hooping
  • Painting and Drawing
  • Instrument-Making
The Kennington Park Centre also has a great outside play area with climbing structures and a zip wire.
A free hot lunch will be provided each day.
Both play schemes are free of charge, but places are limited, so please apply soon to confirm your place.
